Cheque Fraud Advisory
If you have received a cheque from Avanza Business Solutions recently you are a victim of fraud. The first reported activity regarding these fraudulent cheques were reported to us on January 30th 2020 and have begun to circulate on February 4th. 2020.
Please report the people giving you cheques in our company name to the local authorities, and send us any pertinent information so that we may follow up with our due diligence.
We are sorry someone has used our name for fraudulent purposes, but we believe we are not the only company subject to this type of fraud. In two days the fraudsters managed to emit cheques worth over $60,000 to people who probably didn't have any idea what they were getting in to.
We advise financial services companies that provide cheque cashing services to notify the local authorities immediately if one of our cheques are presented.
